Sacramento, CA Tent City And Others Across America

Tent City

Sacramento CBS 13

What are states doing about crawling tent communities  from the west  to the east coast?   People are losing their jobs and their homes.  We do not see this coverage on the news.  One States local official indicated  they did not want to  appear like a 3rd world country, well wake up, it is happening!   Some of these tent cities are being closed down, where are the people being moved to?  Are states taking a look at their current homeless facilities or strategies?    Thank goodness that citizens  make news with their own videos.

Stories  come and go , the important ones rarely are covered.

I Love My Planet, And My Peeps, Happy Valentines Day Globe!

Valentines Day, Do you think that these days are calendered, singled out as reminders for the globe to love one another?  Through our journey in life we always need reminders to check ourselves, (introspection) if we are loving , respecting the people and the world around us.   For Valentines, I wonder how much , chocolate , jewelry, flowers are bought on this day or days leading up to Valentines Day. I hope everyone feels loved today and everyday, and if you have no one, always remember, you still have yourself!

Randy Pausch, Who

I always want to share inspiring people, to remind us all what is possible, and to  re prioritize and improve ourselves with our gift of life.  There is just nothing sexier and more beautiful then to see people who learn continually, examine themselves and get the lessons in life.  Randy Pausch is a man who made his foot print on the world, he accomplished the twofer, living his life and making a difference.  In my book it does not get any better than that!   He was a professor at Carnegie Mellon University.

This Is For My Sister-In-Law Jeannie and My Friend Angie

My Sister- In- Law has been in my life, in our family for a little over 8 years. We may not see eye to eye on some things, or we may have had a little falling out but she is still important to me and a strong remarkable lady. Unfortunately, she has suffered two terrible losses in 2009, her brother Charlie, and her rock of life, her Mother. It is resilient what kind of unimaginable pain a human being can endure. I really do not know what to say but, her mother from the times I have been around her,  had an amazing spirit, I always enjoyed talking to her.

My Friend Angie came into my life when I lived in Jacksonville, Fl. We met through mutual friends and we have manged to stay in contact ever since. I have not seen her in over 8 years but she is always in my heart. We have both been on our individual journeys of life, but we have stayed in touch. My dear friend is going through a hard time with the decline in her Grandmother’s health, it does not look good. Her Grandmother has been the rock in her life and now she will be leaving this earth. These are uniquely different women but my message is that I love them both and I do not take the changes to their lives lightly, when people leave us forever, that is it, there is no do over, everything is said and done while they are living, so cherish the people you love now until they leave you!
