A Precious Song for My Nieces and Nephews, On Behalf Of The Dixie Chicks!

Dixie Chicks, These girls are talented, Patriotic, and it is sad that we have such ignorance in our own country! In 2003 before we invaded Iraq, they made a comment at their concert show in London, radio stations boycotted them, I do not know if  The ban is still on going but, as they proved that truth will always prevail! Go Girls! You should check out their documentary film made in 2006, Shut up and Sing.

It Is My Niece Madison’s Birthday Today!!!

My Little MadisonThis little amazing person is turning 2 today!  She is an evolved spirit, pays attention to everything around her.  She loves all kinds of animals.  My dog Sandy is just at 100 pounds and she touches her everywhere, even on the mouth.  Madison will be a force to be reckoned with when she gets older.  Happy Birthday! It is a celebration of the years she has been in the physical world and In my life!!

In fairness, she has an amazing brother, Nathan that contributes to my blog and a half sister Alyson who permanently resides with her mother  in a  different city.  Alyson came to visit during the Christmas Holiday.  By the way Alyson, write me some time and tell us what is going on with you, or just stuff you want to share.  We miss you!!

A Little Recognition To My Mom And Dad

Two of the most hardworking, active Seniors I know!  They keep up with the young folks.  My parents come from the kick Ass generation!  Fine quality people.  They never knew what debt was, worked for everything they have.  Mom and Dad have always been generous souls.  They devote their time and energy  to their kids and grand kids.  They come flawed, as all  humans do, but I am so very proud , and fortunate to have them in my life.  I hope that in their lifetime I can repay them for their devotion, unselfishness and unconditional love.

My Family At The Rosicrucian Fellowship

I had a great two years at the Rosicrucian Fellowship, it was nice and simple living.  I was invited to live on the grounds which where, beautiful and peaceful. I worked hard as a gardener, and cook, but when you are enjoying it, it is not work.  It was  educational to live amongst  a pupil of different nationalities from:

I was very fortunate to have the experience of living in a universal community.  California is  a beautiful State, the southern part is way to crowded but I would go back and stay there for a while again.  The geography is simply breath taking  with all the mountains and beautiful unique flowers  indigenous to its  climate.  Not  to mention the array of choices or options of  recreational activities( beaches, skiing, hiking) that can be done all in the same day.

This Is For My Sister-In-Law Jeannie and My Friend Angie

My Sister- In- Law has been in my life, in our family for a little over 8 years. We may not see eye to eye on some things, or we may have had a little falling out but she is still important to me and a strong remarkable lady. Unfortunately, she has suffered two terrible losses in 2009, her brother Charlie, and her rock of life, her Mother. It is resilient what kind of unimaginable pain a human being can endure. I really do not know what to say but, her mother from the times I have been around her,  had an amazing spirit, I always enjoyed talking to her.

My Friend Angie came into my life when I lived in Jacksonville, Fl. We met through mutual friends and we have manged to stay in contact ever since. I have not seen her in over 8 years but she is always in my heart. We have both been on our individual journeys of life, but we have stayed in touch. My dear friend is going through a hard time with the decline in her Grandmother’s health, it does not look good. Her Grandmother has been the rock in her life and now she will be leaving this earth. These are uniquely different women but my message is that I love them both and I do not take the changes to their lives lightly, when people leave us forever, that is it, there is no do over, everything is said and done while they are living, so cherish the people you love now until they leave you!

To My Dads Family In Iowa, Lots Of Love, And In the New Year

My father is from Iowa and he comes from a family of 8 brothers and 1 sister. He too comes from a large family. There are a lot of cousins there that I have not seen in a long time, many that I would not recognize, sadly. Leave it to my dad to be the one not to live back where most of his entire family resides. It is amazing where life takes us all. I have some crazy, funny Uncles! I hope to see everyone again!

To My Moms Family In Spain, Hello and A Happy New year!!!

My mother is from the Southern part of Spain. She comes from a big family, 4 sisters and 5 brothers. Her siblings all have families and kids of their own. I will have to get an actual count one day. I was fortunate enough to go back a couple of years ago with my mother. It was a whole month, but it sure went by fast! I had not been back in over 15 years, my how things have changed. It was a blessing to see my cousins, Aunts and Uncles! Os quiero mucho y pienso en ustedes y la alegria de Espana!
